Visiting Charlotte Jean

At the Charlotte Jean we have no set visiting hours. Mothers are welcome to have visitors at times that suit them as long as it doesn’t disturb other clients.

It is important that our mothers make the most of this opportunity to rest, relax and to get to know their baby. Having a lot of visitors can be very tiring. Phoning the Charlotte Jean or the mother on her own mobile phone prior to visiting is helpful to ensure the family can still make time for rest.

Children who visit need to be supervised by an adult. Please don’t let children run around inside or play in the driveway. We have an indoor play area in the lounge and have toys that can be taken into client’s rooms.

Visitors who are unwell should stay away until they are free of symptoms for at least 48 hours pior to visiting, to ensure mums and babies are not put at risk. This includes coughs, colds, vomiting and diarrhoea.

“Visited today and met our beautiful granddaughter. Charlotte Jean is a lovely welcoming and homely place for a family to visit.”
